Takes one to know one

The community I grew up in had a few great sayings . One of  the best was 'takes one to know one ". Which means if you think you know the motivation of another , be careful you didn't source it from your own mind . Something about logs in your own eye there ?

Why are we still at war ?

 And even in our own country.  We pray for peace in the Middle East .  Let me first say that as both a very practical geoscientist and student of history and philosophy (because it can direct the former to more productive and rewarding ends) that planning is my first love and i hope to see REGIONAL and all thinking people drive a return to it .    Am I mad ? I will ask the sheep and the cat   and the donkey too might but in ---- I hope .  It's our children's future and despite inheriting the best planning principles from our own history .Australia is now like many parts of Europe......... one of its COT cases . Why ? You would have to ask me lots of questions and TRUST me as an effective change agent. One of our lead authors Tim Winton uses the word wonks .
